Mark has over 29 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, having worked in senior roles within large corporate institutions, as well as small boutique advisory businesses. He holds an Advanced Financial Planning Certification from the United Kingdom and is also a Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) Certified Financial Adviser.
In 2004, Mark and his wife decided to up sticks and leave the United Kingdom with a dream of building a new life in New Zealand. He enjoyed working and gaining extensive experience while achieving many successes with several large New Zealand financial corporates, including winning awards. However, he discovered there was a motivation to revisit his earlier career of working with a smaller boutique advisory firm, which resulted in an opportunity to join the Ethical Investing NZ team.
Mark believes in thoroughly understanding his clients’ current and future aspirations, and what is most important to them, which he endorses as the foundation of great financial planning. He supports, assists and guides his clients to build a solid financial roadmap to help them secure their wealth and financial future.
Mark lives with his wife and daughter in the suburb of Mt Albert in Auckland and enjoys keeping physically fit, and traveling to destinations on his bucket list. He also organises and supports fundraising events for charities dear to his heart, including Child Cancer Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.
